It is, or has been, known by several names including Michigan Avenue, the Chicago Road, Sauk Trail, and US-12. The hardbound book is a history of this road, and a compilation of stories hidden for years in local archives, recounted by enthusiastic long time residents and discovered by the authors as they traveled Michigan s second Federal highway, US-12.
