In this substantial study, Thomas Trummer has assembled an array of international contemporary artworks in all media that illustrate the problems of the voice confronted with the void. Artists include Rachel Berwick, Joseph Beuys and Ute Klophaus, John Cage, Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller, Valie Export, Anna Gaskell, Asta Groting, Christian Marclay, Melik Ohanian, Hans Schabus, Nedko Solakov, Julianne Swartz and Cerith Wyn Evans.
