Gammill moved into film as a conceptual artist on movie and television projects which included "Virus" (1999), "Species II" (1998), "Stephen King's Storm of the Century", "Can of Worms" (1999), Dean Koontz's "Phantoms" (1998), "Stargate SG-1", and "The Outer Limits". In this volume Gammill takes us behind the scenes on the very important but little-known world of film conceptual art with a focus on designing creatures for action films. Other topics covered includes promotion agency work and toy design. This is not so much a "how to" book as a look into Gammill's creative thought processes and an autobiographic career retrospective, filled with art and anecdotes about his years at Marvel, DC, ad agencies and Hollywood.
