In this book, the production and characterisation of SiC particles reinforced Al alloy matrix composites produced by squeeze casting are investigated. The effects of volume fraction of SiC on microstructure, mechanical properties are examined as well. Also the results of the production of gravity cast matrix alloy, to determine the effect of pressure on microstructure and properties are described in this book.
