Chapters on Native American indigenous knowledge, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Maori, Latin American perspectives, and African indigenous knowledge will acquaint readers with alternative understandings of learning and lead, it is hoped, to a more holistic understanding of adult learning.
