to tell the rich history of their home. Dividing topics among themselves, these amateur historians began to sift through archives, family records, attic boxes and libraries in search of documents, maps, photographs and old newspaper clippings that would help to tell the story of Manoa. The process was long and tedious, but rewarding. The tapes, photographs and documents gathered through their combined efforts have been donated to the Hawaiian-Pacific Collection of the Hamilton Library at the University of Hawaii for the benefit of future researchers.
