Also included are league standing from that period, playoff results and state championship information, not only for 11-man but also for 6-man and 8-man football which are newer forms of the sport in New Mexico. The governing authority is the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA). The author assists the NMAA in authenticating these records when submitted to the association. This edition is refreshed every year and Volume VII has a narrative of the events of 2015 year and also a story about the 1940 season, 75 years ago. Some interesting photos grace the story. Volume VII is a companion book to the original book, “The History of New Mexico High School Football … The First Hundred Years … 1892-1991”. That volume contains over 90 seldom seen photographs of the sport in New Mexico and a year-by-year summary of the development of football at the high school level.
