Valley Forge National Historical Park (Valley Forge NHP). This report was prepared, in part, to satisfy the regulatory requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), which has jurisdictional authority over wetlands and waterways of the United States under the purview of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act; the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), who have authority over wetlands and waterways under the purview of PA Code Title 25, Chapter 105 Dam Safety and Waterway Management Act, the NPS under Director’s Order #77.1, and the Organic Act of 1916.
