ranged from conventional firearms to nuclear weapons of mass destruction. This clandestine industry forms the background to Hauzen's new novel regarding the development and marketing of a highly sophisticated attack helicopter, which brings about deadly results and sets off international turmoil. Industry leaders and politicians desperately aim to maintain this highly profitable but controversial South African manufacturing capability. This country's armaments industry employs more than fifty thousand people, of whom many are highly skilled scientists, engineers and technicians. Opposing the industry are members of a clandestine white right-wing movement whose objective is to enforce the demise of these deadly tank-killing gunships. This movement fears that these capabilities could be sold to questionable governments that have terrorist tendencies. To complicate matters a helicopter test pilot, who desires to satisfy a personal revenge, aims at assassinating Nelson Mandela, the newly elected nationally and internationally popular President of South Africa. This is a controversial work of fiction by Hauzen, opening up a new and yet un-plotted genre: the unrevealed circumstances behind South Africa's Apartheid Curtain and what took place within the country's extremely guarded armaments industry.
