The Journey begins with an exploration of our Universe; that which encompasses all of existence. It is a search for indications of the meaning of that existence. On the way, the Journey reviews the evolution of life, culminating with an examination of the strengths and weaknesses of our own species. Key challenges are identified that we all must face if we want to thrive (and perhaps even to survive) on this earth; within this Universe. These challenges must be met if we are to realize the most compelling meaning for our existence. Hopefully, the Journey within this book will serve as either the beginning, or the continuation, of a never-ending search for those seeking to understand some of the most important truths about our existence.
