Our Partners

For the interested students out there, below is a bit of information about each of our featured book providers:

Amazon.com

By far the best known of our providers, Amazon.com mainly features ambitious college students looking to get more return on their books than their university's bookstores would provide.  For this reason, Amazon often has the lowest prices because they have the most aggressive sellers - college students like you who are happy to get anything more than what their bookstore will offer in buybacks.  Quite simply - if you like your books as cheap as possible, Amazon will likely be your match.

Half.com

Half.com is the most recent addition to our online used book marketplace partners.  Half, an eBay subsidiary, allows students and independent booksellers alike to list their books for sale in a centralized marketplace.  Half was founded in 1999 and to this day remains a major player in the third-party used textbook market.  Little known fact about Half.com - in 1999 they paid the town of Halfway, Oregon to rename itself "Half.com."  Watch out Slagger, Calfornia! While Amazon has very low prices, we have found that Half is often as competitive, if not more, so give them a shot!

Chegg.com

We know any student loves variety in their textbook selections, which is why we provide Chegg.com, a major player in internet textbook rentals.  Chegg.com provides cheap textbook rentals, which allow you to avoid the hassle of getting virtual no value for your books at the end of the quarter - if you are taking a class and you KNOW that you will never use that book again, why not rent it?  Chegg also has a very "green" mindset to their business plan, promising to plant one tree for every book that is rented or sold on their website - they have already funded over 100 acres of trees.  If you're a fan of the environment, and let's be honest - which college student isn't?, Chegg may be your store!

Students

Yes, we allow YOU to list your books on this website as well; the internet stores can't have all the fun!  Listing your books online is free and only requires that you sign up for a free account.  Textbook exchanges often have a hard time taking off because the buyers and sellers cannot agree on a price.  By disclosing all possible buying options, we think we can help more and more student to student sales occur.  Additionally, if students are able to initially purchase their books for less, student-to-student asking prices will be lower.  So if you have a book, feel free to list it; we're happy to help.

Your Campus Bookstore

The Bookstore is a staple at your campus, serving as the main provider of textbooks to the university's thousands of students.
